Toronto Carnival is North America's biggest Caribbean carnival, and once the music drops, the

city transforms. From the Grand Parade to the late-night fetes, Toronto is pure motion,

culture, and celebration.

Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, here’s your essential guide to making the

most of Toronto Carnival 2025.

Free vs. Ticketed Events

  • ï‚· The Grand Parade (Saturday, August 2) is free to watch. Just find a spot along Lakeshore Blvd and enjoy the vibes.

  • Want to join the parade and fete through the streets? You’ll need to register with a mas band

  • 6ixislands events are ticketed— four signature events, one wristband. Buy early, they go fast.

  • ï‚· Avoid driving downtown on parade day—trust us on this one
