city transforms. From the Grand Parade to the late-night fetes, Toronto is pure motion,
culture, and celebration.
Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, here’s your essential guide to making the
most of Toronto Carnival 2025.
Free vs. Ticketed Events
ï‚· The Grand Parade (Saturday, August 2) is free to watch. Just find a spot along Lakeshore Blvd and enjoy the vibes.
Want to join the parade and fete through the streets? You’ll need to register with a mas band
6ixislands events are ticketed— four signature events, one wristband. Buy early, they go fast.

Mas Band 101
ï‚· Register with a mas band to play mas (dance in costume)
ï‚· Your fee covers your costume + parade access
ï‚· Each band has its own theme, vibes, and DJ truck
Travel Tips
ï‚· Fly into Toronto Pearson (YYZ) or Billy Bishop (YTZ)
ï‚· Use TTC, GO Train, Uber, or Lyft to get around
 Avoid driving downtown on parade day—trust us on this one
Safety & Respect
