Simbaarley

Blending Soca, R&B, and Afrobeats, Simbaarley channels Caribbean roots and global influences into genre-fluid anthems defining the future of modern Soca.

Simbaarley

Simbaarley is a British-born creative with dual Caribbean heritage, proudly representing roots from Saint Vincent & The Grenadines and Antigua & Barbuda. His signature sound is a genre-blending fusion of Soca and R&B, with strong influences from Afrobeats, resulting in music that is both rhythmically infectious and emotionally resonant.

As the only UK-based artist selected for the prestigious SPUT Camp, led by Soca legend Kerwin Du Bois, Simbaarley was immersed in a high-level creative environment, developing his songwriting, performance, and recording skills alongside emerging talents from around the globe. The program laid a strong foundation for his evolution as a boundary-pushing voice in the Soca community.

In July 2022, Simbaarley relocated to Canada to further expand his reach within the international Soca circuit. His growing influence was solidified with the 2023 release of “Miss Masquerader”, a dynamic collaboration with international DJ Andre Parris, better known as DJ Puffy. Written by Simbaarley himself, the track seamlessly weaves Afrobeats and Soca into a vibrant love letter dedicated to masqueraders across the world, celebrating Carnival culture with passion and poetic grace.

In 2025, Simbaarley continued his ascent with “Bad Switch”, a high-energy collaboration featuring Kerwin Du Bois and global Soca powerhouse DJ Private Ryan. The track showcased Simbaarley’s lyrical prowess and his ability to connect deeply with audiences through genre-fluid Caribbean storytelling.

With his rich cultural roots, dynamic collaborations, and an ever-evolving sound, Simbaarley is fast becoming a defining figure in modern Soca — pushing the genre forward while honouring the essence of his heritage.
